Pedi Plus Fun Glitter Feet

I am so ready for Summer.   I can't wait to visit the beach and I want my feet to look their best.  This year I am planning on glamming them up with Art Glitter, my Cricut and Cameo to make glitter tattoos for a great price!  Today I am sharing my first attempt at my own glitter tattoo.  And don't worry if you don't have a digital cutter, Art Glitter has ready made stencils for the perfect tattoos!

Supplies
Art Glitter Sticky Paper
Art Glitter Body Glue
Art Glitter 175 Retro Red Ultrafine Pearescent Glitter
Art Glitter 278 Poppy Ultrafine Opaque Glitter
Art Glitter 47 Vine Ultrafine Opaque Glitter
280 Lime Rind Ultrafine Opaque Glitter
Press n' Seal cling wrap
Cricut or Silhouette Machine or other digital cutter

Instructions
1.   Chose a design.  I chose a shape from the Cricut Elegant Cakes Cartridge that looked like a sandal shape to me (triangular).
2.   Place the Art Glitter Sticky paper on the cutting mat with the peel away backing on top and the sticky portion on the bottom of the mat.
3.   Cut your image using a deep cut housing blade, on high pressure on the Cricut.  You can also use a regular blade with a high pressure and a multi cut of two.  I just like to cut once!  My Silhouette blade just needs a high pressure setting, no heavy duty blade needed.
4.  Remove the portions of the design that will be glittered from the mat, leaving any center detail items on the  mat.  See photo above
5.  Place the Press n' Seal cling wrap over the image rubbing it over the design being sure to adhere it to all of the inner pieces of the design.  You only need this step if your design has floating pieces in the center of the image.

6.  Carefully remove the design and inner pieces from the mat by pulling the Sticky paper and Press n' Seal together.  Your finished piece should look like the photo below.
7.  Clean your foot or other area of skin for body glue with rubbing alcohol and allow to dry.
7.  Trim your design so that there is a 1/2" border around the image and it will stick to your body curves easily.  Remove the peel away backing from the Art Glitter sticky paper, use a paper piercer for the smaller portions of the design.

8. Adhere it to your foot.  I recommend you try on any shoes or sandals you want to wear while using your tattoo while you place this, so none of your design is covered by the sandal or shoe.

9.  Apply the Art Glitter Body Glue and spread glue across your custom stencil and allow to dry for 30 seconds.  Less is more, and your glue should be clear when dry.

10.  Using a soft brush, rub glitter across the image.  Painting with the colors to get the look you want.  I wanted my flowers red and my vines and leaves green. I started with the darker glitters and then moved to the lighter colors.   DO NOT use any of the glass glitters for this project!

11.  Peel away custom stencil and brush off excess glitter.

More Glitter and Wonderland Girls

Hey every one here I am with the second half of the Wonderland Girls, these cute stamps are a Limited addition from The Greeting Farm. I just knew these cards would be great with Art Glitter.

Who can resist these girls ?
Art Glitter Supply List:
333 Red Zone (Ultrafine Opaque Hologram)
138 Red Dwarf (Ultrafine Opaque Hologram)
252 Red Planet (Chunky Opaque Hologram)
716 Simba ( Microfine Transparent)
742 Rock Moss (Microfine Transparent)
521 Cayman (Microfine Opaque)
513 Mediterranean (Microfine Opaque)
514 Bavarian Forest (Microfine Opaque)
Dries Clear Adhesive
Ultrafine Metal Tip
Mini Glitter spoons
Sticky Paper A2 card size

Queen Bean was stamped and then colored with Copic Markers and then cut out. The Background Hearts were cut out of Sticky paper using Nestibilities Scalloped Heart, I used the three smallest sizes.
I removed the resist paper and glittered each heart. I used Red Zone for the largest heart, Red Planet for the medium heart and Red Dwarf for the smallest heart. The small heart on the crown was done with dries clear adhesive and Simba. Layer everything together and pop the Queen onto the card.

Alice Bean was also colored with Copic Markers and cut out. The background was done using Sticky Paper already cut to A2 size, I then cut it to 33/4 X 5. Using extra resist paper I punched  flowers 2 large and 3 small. Removing the resist paper from the cut down sticky paper I placed the small flowers don first, then the larger flowers overlapping on some of the small flowers or hanging off the edge. once these were placed I sprinkled Rock Moss over the entire background removed the excess and burnished the glitter, I then removed the large flowers and using a small glitter spoon placed Cayman in the areas, removed the excess and burnished the glitter. I then did the small flowers using Mediterranean in the same manner as above. When all the background is done add stems using Adhesive Dries Clear and Ultrafine Metal Tip then sprinkling with Bavarian Forest glitter.  All that's left is to layer and embellish.

Butterflies and Blossoms Greeting Card

Supply List:
Razzle Dazzle Basic Kit by Art Glitter: Flamingo Pink, Cheeky Pink and Astro Turf and Designer Dries Clear Adhesive (DDCA)
      Spoon Man!  Spoons
      Paint Brush
      Dry Adhesive (a tape runner)
     12" x 6" brown card stock folded in half to create a 6" x 6" card
     5 1/2" x 5 1/2" vintage flower patterned paper (Madeline by Prima)
     4 1/2" x 4 1/2" brown card stock for mat
     4" x 4" white card stock
     Tea Dye Distress Ink Pad
      Ink Tool
     4 roses or flowers (Prima)
     Butterfly Punch (Martha Stewart)
     Chipboard Scroll (Tim Holtz)

Instructions:
Prepare the card base by adhering the patterned paper and the brown mat paper to the card base using a dry adhesive such as a tape runner.

Ink the edges of the white card stock using the distress ink pad and ink tool.  Adhere it to the card base.  Punch 2 butterflies from the white card stock and lay them aside.

Using the paint brush add the DDCA to small sections of the chipboard scroll and sprinkle the Astro Turf Glitter over the glue.  Let sit several seconds to allow to adhere and then shake off the excess.  Continue to work in small sections until the entire scroll is covered and allow to sit and dry completely.  If there are areas that need a little touch up use the edge of the paint brush to dab a little glue into the area and add more glitter.

Add a line of DDCA down the center of the butterfly and sprinkle some of the Black Wing Microfine Opaque Glitter using one of the Spoon Man! spoons.  Tap off excess glitter back into the jar.

Pour a small amount of the DDCA onto your work surface and using the paint brush spread a small amount of the adhesive on a small area of one of the butterfly wings.  Lightly sprinkle some of the glitter (either the Flamingo Pink or Cheeky Pink) onto the adhesive and allow to sit for just a minute to adhere securely.  Sprinkle off the excess and continue to work until the entire butterfly is completed.  Do the second butterfly in the same manner with the second choice of glitter.  Allow them to completely dry.  If an area is not completely covered carefully add more adhesive and glitter.  It is also okay to allow some areas to show through which will add a little pattern to the butterfly wing.  NOTE:  You will want to spread the adhesive on carefully with the paint brush so not to tear the paper butterfly.
Add a little of the DDCA to the bottom of each butterfly to adhere them onto the card.  Also, add some to the scroll and add it to the corner.  Place the flowers the corner and on the scroll as shown and your card is now finished.

Fairy Princess Makeover

Art Glitter Designer, Lynette Daniel made this sweet girl's wish come true by becoming a beautiful fairy princess for the day. Here is a before picture of Miss Allyson Murray (age 12) getting ready to be transformed.
Lynette wanted to make sure that the "face painting" was safe for Allyson's sensitive skin, could stay on all day, but easily washed off with a baby wipe or wash cloth. No adhesive could be used, therefore Lynette took a palette of watercolors and mixed a coordinating Art Glitter color with the non toxic paint and literally painted her face with a soft horse hair paint brush.
Lynette starts by mixing Rain Forest #167 into the green watercolor and swiping a flourish across Allyson's face. Next Lynette fills in her eye area with a white watercolor mixed with Crystal #85. She starts to build a winged mask effect from the bridge of her nose to her temple and then following down past the cheek bone to accent her heart shaped face.

Next Lynette continues to follow the curves of Allyson's face and add a fresh tint of Lime Rind #280 to the green watercolor building each layer to blend with the next. Lynette chose #178 Duck Tail for an exciting pop of "bling in spring" Last, Lynette applied black liquid eyeliner and mascara on Allyson for definition.

To be complete, Lynette French coiffed Allyson's hair and coordinate a crown of spring flowers with a touch of Lime Rind #280 on the sprigs and tucked into each twist of her braid. Then Lynette took many shades of sweet May Arts ribbons that matched the Art Glitter tones and fashioned a whispy fairytale bow and attached to hide the rubber band.
After the final touches of fairy princess pampering, Miss Allyson felt like her feet were 10 feet off the ground.

Mixed Media Mini Canvas

Heather here and I am super excited to share with you my first project for
Art Glitter, a tiny canvas!
Supply List
Step One
I cut out 12 pieces of  Spring Morning Fantasy Film.  I layered three sheets of fantasy film and topped it with some of my Shimmering Pink Fantasy Fiber.  I then ironed them (following package directions) for three seconds between two sheets of parchment paper.  I ended up with 4 pieces to play with.

Step Two
I used the tattered rose die and cut out multiple flower sizes.  You can see how the fantasy film catches the light, and looks different depending on how the light is hitting it.  It is beautiful in real life.

Step Three
I used a heating tool to heat up each petal, and mold them to the shape I wanted.  Then I placed them inside of each other (I used two med and one little one for my flower).  In order to get my flowers to stay together, I placed two layers together, then used my hot glue gun (no glue) in the center of the flower to melt the two pieces together.  I did the same for the additional layer.

Step Four
I opened up my large bottle of Art Glitter designer glue, and used a brush to apply a layer to my canvas (notice the shimmer on my canvas), and I will adhere a piece of patterned paper.

Step Five
I inked the edges of my piece with Worn Lipstick distress ink and then applied some more designer dries clear glue with a brush across the center. I then used a brayer to adhere my champagne netting. Make sure to trim off the excess.

Step Six
I used the same brush, and applied designer glue to all four edges of my canvas and then covered with the Coral Reef glitter!  It is Sparkly gorgeousness!!  I also used a piece of orange swirls ribbon to wrap around my canvas and tied a bow on the left!

Step Seven
I took my skeleton leaf and outlined the veins with the designer dries clear glue using the fine tip metal applicator.  I then sprinkled on the olde gold glitter.  You will see in the photo above, how I used the glue, and then the glitter.

Step Eight
I used the fine tip metal applicator to apply glue to the swirls on the ribbon, then applied the pumpkin glitter, and the moss green may arts leaves.  You can see that I used it again to adhere the skeleton leaf.

Step Nine
I cut out my collage pieces, used the fine tip metal applicator to apply DDCA around the edges of my text boxes, center of butterfly and used the brush to cover the butterfly wings.  The Martha's yard glitter on the text boxes, and Just Peachy on the wings.  I used dimensional dots on all of these pieces.

 Step 10

I used the fine tip metal applicator and added some DDCA to the center of my flower and and added the Orange Crush glitter.  I also outlined the edges of the flower petals, and applied the Coral Reef glitter.  I let it dry, then added it to my canvas.  I then arranged my text boxes and butterfly and used the dimensional dots to adhere them to my canvas.  The butterfly was outline with DDCA with the fine tip metal applicator and used Coral Reef glitter.    I used the Leafing Adhesive and fine tip metal applicator to apply a line around the edge of my canvas (see photo above).

Step 11
Step 12
I let the leafing adhesive dry as per directions, then added the gold leafing paper.
I used a paintbrush to lightly burnish the leafing to the leafing adhesive.

Step 13
I used the fine tip metal applicator and DDCA to add some little dots of glue to the center of my flower and through out my canvas (refer to photo for placement).  I then applied my glass seed beads.

Step 14
Close ups.

One last look at the whole piece
